The province of Sudurpaschim, which is located in western Nepal, is fascinating and full of cultural diversity. From the capital city Kathmandu by bus: You have to take a bus from New Buspark (Gongabu bus park). The entry points to Sudurpaschim from Kathmandu majorly are the Terai districts. One has to take a direct bus to either of these places; Tikapur, Dhangadhi, Attariya or Mahendranagar, most of which are night buses. They leave Kathmandu bus park at around 1 pm to 6 pm. You can get a bus to each destination on an average of one-hour intervals. You can get luxury buses as well as normal seating buses to these places. The cost of tickets ranges from Rs. 2200 to Rs.3000 as per the bus you choose. From these destinations, you can easily get buses to the hilly and mountain regions of the province.

From Kathmandu by Flight: There is a daily flight that goes to Dhangadi and Mahendranagar. You can also book a flight to Nepalgunj and then hire a cab or take a bus to different places in Sudurpaschim such as; Tikapur, Mahendranagar, Dhangadi, Attariya, Doti, Achham. You can also take 2 flights l one from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj/Dhangadi and from there another flight to Bajura.

From India by bus: Actually, Sudurpaschim makes a border to India from 2 sides, one towards Uttar Pradesh and the other towards Uttarakhand. There are no buses that directly go inside Sudurpaschin, Nepal (unless you book one and do all the travel permit processes, there is a bus going from Delhi to Kathmandu via Mahendranagar). Otherwise, You can reach Tikapur from the Tikuniya border, Dhangadhi from the Gaurifanta border, and Mahendranagar from the Banbasa border. You can get buses to reach all these places from Delhi bus stops, Lucknow bus stops, Dehradoon/Haridwar bus stops, and so on.

If you are coming to Province 7 (Sudurpaschim region) by your own vehicle, you can get the permit from all the borders mentioned above. You have to pay a certain amount according to the government policy.

From Other Countries by flight: From all other countries including India, there are many flights coming to the capital city Kathmandu, Take a flight from them and from Kathmandu you can take a bus or a domestic flight towards where you want to go. Recently there is an International Airport in Pokhara that has started its flight from different countries. Major flights operating in Nepal are Nepal Airlines, Indigo, Vistara, Himalaya Airlines, Air India, Biman Bangladesh, Qatar Airways, Thai Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Fly Dubai, Singapore Airlines, SriLankan Airlines.
